BED REST!!!!!!

Well...It has been an eventful week here in the totty house. Last Wed. When I went in for my 32 week appointment I was admitted into the hospital for observation!!!!! Talk about scary!!!!!! Anyway the best results happened. I was able to go home after a few hours of observation. It turns out that I have very high blood pressure and have pre-eclampsia! So now I am confined to the bed. I am on strict bedrest for the remainder of this pregnancy. I am allowed to take a shower (thank goodness!!!) go to the bathroom, and then to the OB office, other than that it is bed for me!!! I do get to see the downstairs of my house 2 times a week because I have to go to the OB office every Monday and Thursday!! Stephen is doing great at helping mom, dad, Kelly and Mrs. Henderson in keeping up the housework etc. My parents have also been lifesavers. When Stephen goes to work, mom and/or dad will come over and "babysit" me for the day. Mom and dad have also taken over cooking meals! And you know something, food without salt is not bad at all!!!!!! My friend Kelly has spent her last week of summer vacation alternating with mom as the "nurse". It is nice having someone here to keep me company, and for the fact that the kitchen is downstairs it is nice to have someone to bring me food!!! Kelly, mom, and Mrs. Henderson have also been working on finishing the nursery for me. Stephen and dad put the swing and pack and play together and downstairs today, so now whenever Craig makes his appearance into the world we will be ready for him!!
The doctor and us are praying that Craig will make it to 34 weeks (August 19) and then everyday after that will be one more day that Craig can "bake". My understanding is that the longest they will let me "stay pregnant" will be 37 weeks. So it looks like Stephen may get the best birthday present ever. (37 weeks is the day after Stephen's birthday!!)
Thanks to everyone who has kept this family in your prayers. And please continue to pray for us.
